Idol Update!

Everything is bigger in Texas, even the Idol dreams. Wednesday night took the American Idol dream to Dallas, Texas, with guest judges Neil Patrick Harris and Joe Jonas.

Neil is a star of the stage, film and television and definitely knows what he's talking about.

Julie Kevelighen is an auditioner from season 1 and is back 8 seasons later to try her luck. She did really terrible the first season, but now she is just normal bad. According to Julie, if she just had taken a deeper breath before singing, she would have been better.

Dock worker Llyod Thomas was looking to change his stars, and he had a beautiful voice. He has two cute daughters and is going to Hollywood to make a better life for them.

Apparently Simon and Neil disagreed a lot on who was good and who wasn’t.

Dexter Ward thought he was the next American Idol, but I couldn’t understand a word he was saying and he had a weird winking contest with the camera. He was tone deaf, but hilarious to watch.

Dave Pittman has Tourette's syndrome, which he seems to have a good handle on. He had a nice voice and will be going to Hollywood.

Day two, Joe Jonas was the guest judge. He is one of the brothers and band members of The Jonas Brothers and a heartthrob to teen girls everywhere.

Todrick Hall was in 'The Color Purple' with Idol alum Fantasia, and he did the cutest original song and had a really good voice too. Todrick is going to Hollywood and I think he genuinely deserves it.
