Idol Update!

Denver, Colorado welcomed American Idol on Tuesday where Chris Daughtry got his start during season 5.

Victoria Beckham joined the group of judges again looking chic as usual.

Mario Galvan had a weird nervous little laugh that Simon kept making fun of. He also had a really baggy outfit on that made him look like he was wearing a dress. Victoria was sweet and told him he had really white teeth.

Kimberly Kerbow had a cute 5-year-old daughter who seemed to think that her mom had what it takes. Kimberly did have nice voice and a good attitude. I think Simon had a crush on her and it was kind of cute. At any rate she is going to Hollywood. The funniest thing is the I thought maybe Kimberley was wearing a wig and then the judges confirmed it.

Danelle Hayes has been trying to make it in the music industry and was very emotional about auditioning. Simon made a good point saying that she seemed, “almost broken.” It was somehow moving and I’m glad she will get her chance in Hollywood.

Casey James audition started out serious, describing that he was once in a terrible motorcycle accident, but then the girls told him to let his hair down and take his shirt off. Casey wasn’t terrible on the eyes and maybe he will “work on his personality.”

Austin Paul was the biggest ditz I’ve ever seen. He plays football at his university in Colorado and he had the goofiest smile ever. He had a ridiculous voice and it was just embarrassing.

Nicci Nix came from Italy to audition for the show. Her speaking voice sounded like she sucked on a helium balloon which Simon pointed out. I personally thought her singing voice was kind of terrible but the judges liked her and she’s going to Hollywood.

Haeley Vaughn was born 2 months early and she feels that she is a miracle child and wants to be a pop country singer. She did a good job and could definitely sing. The judges liked her and she got the golden ticket.

26 from Denver got the chance to go to Hollywood.
